WORKSHOP IN SANTORINI

How about experiencing a painting trip (Painting Holiday) to Santorini?

Your instructor will be George Politis an experienced instructor, caring to help the artists understand and use several techniques.

George is a signature member of several art societies like AWS (American Watercolor Society), RI (Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, UK), LWS (Louisiana Watercolor Society), SDWS (San Diego Watercolor Society) e.a., past President of the Artists Society of Northern Greece. He has had many solo exhibitions, participated in numerous international group ones and his work has been awarded many times in international shows.

Santorini is a real Paradise on Earth, a majestic place, probably the best experience for a watercolor painter!!

The artists will be painting large or small scale, in our studio and plein air.

The workshop is appropriate for all levels.

Every day the artists will be painting different subjects. Each time George Politis will

give a demo (step by step)
provide step by step notes and photos (pdf files and jpegs)
assist every painter and help through the painting process

The workshop is all inclusive, so included are:

Tuition / courses
Hotel
All three meals per day (with wine, beer or refreshments in lunch/dinner)
Transportation during the workshop (in Santorini)
Museum and guided tours.

The artists will be able to visit the best places in Santorini, many of them not known or easily accessible to the tourists!

Schedule:

19 August: Arrival of artists - Welcome Dinner

20 - 25 August: Painting 10 am - 4 pm, visiting tours in the afternoons.

26 August: Summing up, Critiques, Farewell lunch

Materials:

George Politis is a Brand Ambassador of

Daniel Smith Watercolors and
Escoda Brushes

so the artists will be given several presents like a palette with DS colors, an Escoda Brush, an apron, board and more...

Moreover, George Politis will have several materials available for the practice, so the artists can use (so that they don't have to carry many things along).
